Effective date: July 5, 2026
The short version
- Your voice audio is transcribed on your device. Intercoms never records, stores, or uploads audio.
- We store the text of your captures so we can clean them up and deliver them where you choose.
- We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
- You can delete your account — and everything with it — from inside the app at any time.
Who we are
Intercoms is a voice-capture app for iOS, operated by Feritti, LLC, that turns spoken thoughts into cleaned-up notes and routes them to the tools you connect — Email, Slack, Trello, or Notion. This policy explains what data the service handles and why. Questions? Email support@intercoms.cc.
What we collect
Account information
When you sign up with Apple or with an email code, we store your email address and, if provided, your name. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your real email address; that works fine with Intercoms.
Captures
Speech recognition happens on your device using Apple's speech engine — the app sends no audio to our servers. The resulting text transcript is sent to our backend, where an AI model produces a cleaned-up note and a suggested destination. We store the transcript, the cleaned note, and delivery status so your capture history syncs and failed deliveries can be retried.
Connections
When you connect Slack, Trello, or Notion, those services give us an access token limited to what delivery requires (for example, posting to the channel you picked). Tokens are stored encrypted on our servers, never on your device, and are used only to deliver your captures. For email delivery we store the address you choose to send to.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Our subscription partner RevenueCat tells us whether your subscription is active, keyed to a random account identifier.
What we don't collect
- No audio recordings — recognition is on-device.
- No location data.
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party ad or tracking SDKs.
- No contacts, photos, or other device content.
How we use your data
- To provide the service — transcribing intent, cleaning up notes, and delivering them to your connected tools.
- To sync — your captures and settings follow your account across reinstalls.
- To enforce plan limits — counting monthly deliveries on the free plan.
- To communicate — sign-in codes and, rarely, service announcements. No marketing email without consent.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use your captures to train AI models.
Service providers
We use a small set of processors to run Intercoms. Each receives only what its job requires:
| Provider | Purpose | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication & backend hosting (US) | Account data, captures, connection tokens |
| Anthropic | AI note cleanup | Capture text (not used for model training) |
| Resend | Email delivery | Recipient address, note content of email captures |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Random account ID, subscription status |
| Apple | Sign-in, payments, on-device speech | Per your agreement with Apple |
| Slack / Trello / Notion | Delivery of captures you route there | Note content you send; governed by their terms |
Once a capture is delivered to a connected tool, the copy that lives there is governed by that tool's own privacy policy — deleting a capture in Intercoms doesn't recall the message from your Slack channel or Trello board.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. Deleting your account from Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, captures, connections, and stored tokens from our systems. Disconnecting an individual service deletes its access token. Backups age out within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your rows is enforced at the database level, per-user. Service tokens are kept server-side only, and our own access to production systems is restricted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app; for anything else, email support@intercoms.cc and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
Intercoms is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated policy.
